Actually, money and knowledge, both of which are really indispensable to us, are compared and debated by people ceaselessly. As far as I’m concerned, money and knowledge play equally important role in our life at present. Firstly, the respective importance becomes more prominent under different situations. Consider the children who drop out in poor mountainous areas as an example. Financial assistance can provide a condition for them to continue their studies, while if they want to achieve bigger dreams in the future, it is prerequisite that they must arm themselves with knowledge. Besides, the value of knowledge can never be measured by money and vice versa. Millionaires cannot buy knowledge and people with profound knowledge may be poorly off. What’s more, at extreme terms, some rich people may become increasingly greedy and excessively niggardly, who need transfer their attitudes with the help and guidance of knowledge. We can do nothing without money or knowledge in the rapidly developing and highly competitive society on our way forward. To keep abreast of the times, we should make efforts to equip us with as much knowledge as possible, make money legitimately and use it sensibly as well.
