Channels Through Which University Graduates Gel Their First Job Offers As we can see from the table, 30 percent graduates from 211 Project universities get their first job offers from recruitment fairs sponsored by universities. While for non-211 Project university and vocational college graduates, the principal channel of obtaining their first job offers is the information provided by their friends and relatives. The data in the table can be interpreted as follows: Graduates from 211 Project universities enjoy more priority in the job market compared with graduates from non-211 Project universities and vocational colleges. As a matter of fact, this has long been a distinguishing feature of China’s university graduates recruitment. First of all, most Chinese companies and enterprises have a special interest in graduates from famous universities, so they often go to the recruitment fairs organized by these universities to seek talented people. That is why many students from these universities could get their first job offers there. Moreover, many employers clearly declare that they don’t consider graduates from schools other than 211 Project universities, so students from non-famous universities actually have been eliminated at the very beginning. It makes these students feel prejudiced, even offended. They have no way out but to seek help from their friends and relatives in job hunting. On the whole, there are biased opinions from employers when they recruit university graduates. In conclusion, the situation in university graduates recruitment does not comply with the consistent talent policies of our country. To solve the problem, employers should desert their preconception and make employment standards fair to everyone.
然后使用“First of all…”
