To begin with, only when a person believes in himself is he willing to try new things and take risks. Moreover, confident people see obstacles as trials for improvement. When faced with setbacks, they are never beaten by frustrations, which is an advantage compared to those who lack it. Heartbreaking news occasionally comes that some students commit suicide because they fail to deal with low scores which break their vulnerable self-confidence, life is never a plain sailing, not to mention handy success. Therefore, confidence is our shield and spiritual support on the way to success. In conclusion, confidence alone may not guarantee success, but it is an indispensable quality to it.
