The sea is dead and there is no sign of life. Suddenly, the diver spots a strange fish. It breathes through a tube which is connected to a bottle of clean water. This cartoon warns us of the imminent serious environmental pollution on the earth. How should we tackle this problem of our human beings? First of all, environment awareness of all human beings should be raised through education and publicizing. For example, in schools, appalling environmental facts should be written into textbooks so as to teach the students the grave conditions of our earth. All mass media should be activated to stage all kinds of environmental protection campaigns, such as air monitoring, forestation, and energy saving. Meanwhile, governments of all countries should work together to make strict environmental protection laws so that no eco-thug can escape the harsh penalty. Only with strict environmental protection laws can coordinated measures be taken in the joint efforts to save the earth. To conclude, environment awareness should be raised by all means and environmental protection laws should be constituted.
