It Pays off to Focus on One Thing

答案
Some people always want to engage themselves in many things rather than focusing on one thing. However, as the old saying goes, "better master one than engage in ten". In my opinion, your concentration on one thing will increase your efficiency and your probability of success. Firstly, when our brain is learning and dealing with several things at the same time, we are easily distracted and can’t focus on one activity. Therefore, common people who want to master many things may turn out to be the worst at handling different things. Secondly, you cannot achieve every goal simultaneously. If you concentrate on one thing, your prospect for success will be many times better. The best sales-people don’t close every sale. Michael Jordan makes barely half of his field-goal attempts. But it takes no longer to prepare well for one interview than to wander in half-prepared for five. And your chances of success will be much higher. In all, we have no need to waste our time on many things. Concentrating on one thing will be enough to bring us a lot of benefits.
