问题 Examiner:Now,in this part of the test I’m going to give each of you a list of three different topics. I’d like you to select one of the topics and give a short presentation of about 2 minutes.
When (say the name of Candidate A)has finished talking ,I’d like you (say the name of Candidate B) to ask him/her one or two questions. You may make notes while you are preparing and take notes while the other person is talking. All right? Here are your topics.
(Hand over the Topic Card A & B,and some blank paper and a pencil to each candidate.)

答案Examiner: All right. Now,let’s move to the third part. In this part of the test I’m going to give each of you a list of three different topics. I’d like you to select one of the topics and give a short presentation for about a minute. When (say the name of Candidate A)has finished talking , I’d like you , (say the name of Candidate B), to ask him/her one or two questions. You may make notes while you are preparing and take notes while the other person is talking. Now you’ll have 2 minutes to prepare. All right. Now (say the name of Candidate A) , would you begin by telling us which topic you have chosen and then give your presentation ,please? Key: Television programs regularly entertain, educate, affect and frighten the majority of children. Most children are allowed to watch whatever programme is on, with little thought to the effect that particular show will have on a child. Most programmes can be classed as beneficial or harmful, according to what effect the program might have on a child. The beneficial television programmes are mainly those that educate the young. There are often special programmes about animals. A few regular children’s programmes develop the child’s interest in learning by stressing numbers and the alphabet. They also encourage him or her to be creative. The beneficial commercials, such as those on anti-smoking, anti-litter, and health, should be included in this category. On the opposite side are the shows which are generally harmful to children. Many com-merials, especially those sponsoring children’s programmes, are deliberately written to create a desire for an unnecessary product such as sugar coated cereals and candy. All adult programmes that include violence or sex scenes can at best fill a child’s mind with confusing or misleading ideas, and could possibly harden the child to violence. Thoughtful parents do not allow their children to view bad programmes. A child’s viewing time should be limited to watching educationally beneficial programmes.
