Just imagine the case: a person with heart attack falls down and dies for lack of timely rescue. As a matter of fact, he could be saved if people passing by could stop and take some measures to help him. Such tragedy can be avoided by starting out very small to help others. What’s more, it is a moral decline to stand by those people really in need, which will breed indifference and discourage more people to stay away from them. Basic humanitarian support is the mark of the advance of a society, while coldness will only isolate individuals. To conclude, we should know how to wisely help people in need, instead of taking a lame excuse for indifference.
