答案 Everyone has his/her goals in life, especially for the young school boys and girls. As can be seen from the picture, two boys are both crying. What are they crying for? With the help of the Chinese description we know that one of them is so sad about his "poor performance" in the examination that he can not help crying, while the other is so excited at his "good performance" in the examination that he is bursting into tears, too. This picture shows people’s different attitudes in setting their goals. Some people aim high, while others can be easily satisfied. As is shown in the two school boys, one’s goal is a full score of 100, with a score of 99, he is feeling miserable; and the other’s goal is merely to pass the examination, so with a score of 60, he is too overjoyed to refrain from crying. I prefer neither of the boys. Yes, school scores are important to students, but they should not be overemphasized. Good marks and high scores, after all, are just one aspect of school education. The goal for the students is not only good school performance, but also all-round development. In this sense, the two boys are not good examples for us to follow: one is too strict with himself in school scores, while the other is too short sighted.
