Just as the picture shows, the college program the boy wants to take is about how to get on well with his parents. In modern society, children always complain that their parents are out of date, while parents can’t approve of what their children say and do. Thus, a widening generation gap forges. The gap remains wide for many reasons. First of all, many children want to be free to choose their own friends, plan their own futures, spend their own time, and generally run their own life in a more independent way than their parents allow. In addition, young children wish to be understood by their parents, but most parents don’t quite understand their children.
