The path from which the eclipse will be seen goes across the continental United States, from Oregon to South Carolina.    Meanwhile, Makanda is getting ready to welcome the eclipse-seekers, many of whom are scientists. Joe McFarland, Makanda’s "eclipse organizer" knows that the event------and the thousands of visitors that will come with it------might present difficulties for the tiny town. He said, "【B4】______We’re nervous that we’ re going to have crowd control issue (问题) , traffic control issue. We’ re trying to prepare for that. "
