Are they different from the ways people got news in the past few decades?
选项
答案
Yes, they’re very different from the ways people got news in the past few decades. In the past, people usually got news from papers, magazines and radio. For a very long time, news travelled much slower than nowadays. It might take days before a piece of news was known by people living in another city. Therefore, in the past, local news was more common. News was a rare resource as well. Many people, especially those living in rural areas, even didn’t have papers. In those areas, people had to rely on others, especially who had travelled to somewhere else to bring back new information.
