The reason for my request is that one of my best friends is to get married on 12th January. And I am invited to be the presider of his wedding so I have to go to Beijing to attend his wedding ceremony. Of course, I will try my best to make up for the losses due to my absences by working overtime for the forthcoming weekends. I would much appreciate it if you would approve my request.
