答案 My View on Man-made Beauty The desire for a beautiful appearance is human nature. The plastic surgery may really mean something to some people, such as becoming more beautiful and confident. But every coin has two sides, and so does the man-made beauty practice. The reasons are as follows. Firstly, one’s appearance is God’s blessing. Though after breast enlargement surgery, women look sexier than before, many of them are diagnosed with mammary gland diseases. Another serious problem is that they risk being unable to breastfeed. Secondly, advocating such a practice will mislead people into the false judgment of true beauty. The concept of beauty is quite rich in connotation. It should include many virtues like honesty, diligence, etc. , which should be the real mainstream of our aesthetic taste. The practice of man-made beauty will confuse those who are to develop a correct concept of beauty. Concerning the above possible harm the practice may bring about, I am strongly against it and advocate true and natural beauty. Besides, people should pay more attention to the cultivation of their inner beauty since the inner beauty outweighs the external beauty in the long run.
