In the first place, most college students need to study foreign languages (mainly English) and computer science well, because there is a pressing need for those skills in the employment market. In the second place, novels are still popular though the proportion decreased as most popular books can be read online for free. Considering that China is increasingly close to world economically and socially now, and the prevalence of computer in daily life, we can predict that the books of foreign languages and computer science will still occupy large proportions in college students’ booklists in the forthcoming years.
