What will occur at Davis Park?

M: We just received a call from the mayor’s office. As you know, he’ll be giving a speech at the grand opening of Davis Park this Sunday. They need someone to write it for him.
W: I’m helping organize the park opening, but I should have time to write the speech too. How long should it be?
M: Not too long. Half a page should be long enough. His office would like to review it before the weekend, though.
W: That’s fine. I’ll finish it by Thursday and bring it there myself.
