How can workers benefit from taking holidays? Are there any negative effects on the employers?

答案
One of the obvious benefits is that workers can have a break and temporarily relieve themselves of the burden of work. Long working period can bring tiredness and fatigue to employees. So, the occasional getting-away would help workers release negative feelings and improve mental and physical health. The truth is, annual leave could be used as an attractive bonus to win employees’ loyalty to the company. However, for employers, there’s a cost to pay. Their company still runs when some employees are on holiday. So the workload may be redistributed to other departments or be directly cut off, making the company run slower or gain less profit. Every coin has two sides, so bosses need to balance the pros and cons of holidays for the company.
