Beidou’s location reporting function enables the traffic control authorities to track motor vehicles on the road and quickly ease traffic congestion. Although the Beidou is a satellite navigation system developed and operated independently by China, this does not affect its compatibility with other satellite navigation systems in the world. By using both the Beidou and the GPS at the same time, people will receive more accurate positioning and navigating services.
