答案 Dreams and Reality In the picture presented, a man is lying under an apple tree, [1]dreaming that a big apple is falling down. He opens his mouth wide to catch the apple, but in reality, as we can see in the picture, he may get a worm. [2]Thus, the purpose of the picture is to emphasize that there are differences as well as connections between dreams and reality. [3] The fact that dreams and reality are both distinctive and connective can be best illustrated in our effort to predict earthquakes. According to historical records, as early as 132 A. D, there was the invention of seismograph for seismic observations. Unfortunately, even today, we still aren’t able to know where and when the quake would happen. [4]However, from another perspective, thanks to the good wish, we have made great progress in this field and maybe in the near future, we can forecast the earthquake days even weeks before it happens. [5]To sum up, dreams and reality don’t equal to each other. [6]However, dreams can be made to serve for us if they are based on reality.[7]Therefore, we should [8]square our dreams with reality and then try hard to pursue them.
