解析                                  A Family Getting-together
    What a striking contrast between the past and the present situation of a family! As we may see from the background picture on the wall, this was a happy family that consists of three people: father, mother and the only son, all beaming with smile. Apparently they were confident about their careers and were intoxicated in their happy family life.
    But now things have changed. Under three labels of "taking bribe" (father), "asking for bribe" (son) and "covering up bribe" (mother), the whole family is standing in the defendant’s seats, their head bent down. Evidently, all the family members have been involved in a case of corruption.
    This drawing reminds me of a famous Chinese saying: Money is the origin of all evils. From ancient time up to now, fortune hunting and power seeking is a timeless story. Money and power beget corruption. Especially with the development of the market economy, quite a few people, particularly some leaders and government officials, accumulate money by taking bribe. Not only do they themselves commit the evil practice, but their spouses and children are also involved. In my opinion, such kinds of people are doomed to be social criminals and will eventually be punished by the justice.
