Man:Well, sometimes, it is so hard for me that I just call the person who offered me the job, and sometimes, I give them a letter of email. I usually first thank the company for the offer and talk about the positive things that attracted me to the job and the company. I believe if I burn bridges with this company, I may ruin my chances at other companies. So I always try to act politely and have the best behaviour.

When looking for information about how my company measures up to competitors, customers can be a valuable resource. And I usually send out surveys, or just call customers directly, or interview members of the target audience to find out why they have chosen competing products or services.

Man: I think it is of great importance to listen to what the customer has to say and ask for as many details as possible. I try to find out whether the problem has to do with service or problems with the product we offered. And I usually reassure the client that I will do everything in my power to solve the situation and then try to find a solution while the customer is still on the line rather than promising to call back.

Woman: Well, I usually offer the customer who comes back for a small discount on the next purchase, or a product upgrade. And moreover, I always try my best to remember them, since people need to feel special. Everyone likes to think they are memorable and even just saying hello to them can make their day.
