Read the following table showing the results of a survey of video recorders. The recorders are rated from *(POOR)to * * * * *(EXCELLENT). Column A shows the ratings for your company’s products. Column B shows the ratings for the products of Shikei, your main competitor.
Use the information in the table to write a short report recommending ways of improving the quality and the marketing of your company’s video recorders.

Findings From the table shown, it can be concluded that our efforts in such fields as " Value for Money ", "Reliability", "After-sales Service" and "Advertising" are less successful than those of Shikei. Recommendations On the basis of the results, I have the following recommendations: 1. To organize quality circles to study and supervise every sector in our production so that any quality problems can be discussed and solved in the course of production. 2. To give the marketing manager more power to make his own decisions so that he can respond to the changing business situation more more promptly.
