Given the difficulty of landing a job, university graduates are now more proactive. They would force themselves on HR personnel for an interview. Some experts say the "forced interview" tactic is not workable, because it only demonstrates the immaturity of the graduates. Some others, however, think the tactic at least shows the HR department that the graduate is a doer who is able to take initiative to make things happen. What is your opinion? Do you encourage college graduates to ask for interviews forcibly? Write an essay of about 400 words. You should supply an appropriate title for your essay.

Forced Interview? Yes! As the number of university students soars in China over the last decade, university graduates are finding it increasingly difficult to find a decent job. For every job vacancy, there is a fierce competition. Facing such situation, some graduates have chosen to force themselves on HR personnel for an interview. Some experts believe that "forced interview" is not workable. But as far as I am concerned, "forced interview" helps graduates to seize more opportunities and enables them to stand out among competitors. To start with, asking for interviews forcibly can bring graduates more opportunities. Nowadays, since there are often too many applicants for a certain job, the initial screening process is fairly brief. I have once helped HR personnel to go through the resumes, who only spent less than one minute on each one. Apparently the time is too limited for one to read every detail in the resumes. Some applicants may get ignored and lose the chance of interview if their resumes are not attractive enough. In this regard, I believe that by forcing oneself into an interview, one can at least get more chances to let the HR know more and better about him. And in this high-ly competitive environment, opportunities are very important. Secondly, "forced interview" also enables a job-seeker to stand out among his competitors. Typically an HR has to interview dozens of people every day, so it is vital that an applicant leave a positive impression. Otherwise he would not be considered as a potential employee. This is usually very difficult because interviewees are given fixed time slots and asked the same questions. A "forced interview", however, may be impressive for the interviewers since it comes as a surprise. Furthermore, it also shows the eagerness of an applicant to get the job. Compared with those who follow routine schedules and give somewhat dull speeches during the interviews, graduates who force an interview may be easier to succeed in their job-hunting. To conclude, in the highly competitive job market, "forced interview" is workable because it not only gives graduates more opportunities to introduce themselves, but also makes it possible for them to distinguish themselves among competitors by leaving an impression on the interviewer. So I believe that "forced interview" can be considered as a positive way in finding jobs.
