答案
Working at Home Nowadays, what has become a tide is that certain companies, especially some small-scale businesses, begin to encourage their staff to make home as their working base. Some offer some forms of remote working support to their work-forces, such as equipping them with laptops, and others pay for the telephone bills for these staff. The reason why this work pattern becomes popular is that it brings a number of benefits to these companies. To begin with, it helps retain employees, especially highly-qualified working parents with childcare responsibilities. Moreover, it brings higher productivity since the employees have fewer interruptions and less commuting time. Last but not least, it offers savings on premises and other facilities. However, there are some potential drawbacks. For one thing, there is difficulty in managing home workers and monitoring their performance and difficulty in maintaining staff development and upgrading skills. For another, it may create a sense of isolation among home workers and it can be harder to maintain team spirit. Therefore, enterprises should weigh the pros and cons before permitting their employees to work at home.
解析
第一段:描述当下在家办公的潮流。
第二段:在家办公的好处。
第三段:可能产生的问题以及影响。
