T: Do you know some details about it? Let’s have a look. Step 2 While-writing (10 minutes) (1) Drafting Ask students to make up sentences about Beijing Roast Duck and then finish the writing in 3b. When they are writing, walk around the classroom and ask them to pay attention to the grammar, spelling and even punctuation, and give the students help if they need. (2) Peer-editing Ask students to change their articles with their partners and have a peer editing. During the process, ask students to pay attention to the usage of passive voice and their expressions, then correct mistakes, if any. (Justification: In this step, students can get organized of what they had gathered and their logical thinking, writing and editing ability can be improved.) Step 3 Post-writing (5 minutes) Revising Help students to reduce the redundancy and make their writing more concise and logical, and enrich the content by providing more perspectives.
