The survey results raise our concerns about school buses, an issue that has a critical impact on the safety of students. To address this issue, it is advisable for schools to take some measures. First, schools must purchase buses that are tailor-made and fully equipped for the purpose of transporting students safely. Second, the passenger capacity should be strictly observed, because overloading would incur serious consequences. In short, the above-mentioned measures, namely, a strong school bus and a stringent rule, could reduce the risk of school bus accidents substantially.
