选项
A、date
B、deter
C、hinder
D、delay
答案
A
He datedthe arrival of each new bird. 原文前半句中出现advancethe agenda of…cooperation,后半句提及political problem and other economic priorities… 选项[B]deter表示“障碍,使人停止”,相当于prevent/discourse sb.from doing,如:High prices are deterring a lot ofnew couples from buying houses. Broken water pipes and gas leaks have hindered firefighters in their efforts.
