答案
Should Companies Only Focus on Experience? Nowadays, it is common that many companies do not trust new graduates, who may have learned mountains of theories but lack practical abilities. They would like to rank working experience as a top requirement in their recruitments. In my view, companies should not only lay stress on experience. Several reasons account for my argument. Firstly, college students, full of youthful spirit and new ideas, can inject vitality into a company, which is a driving force to facilitate a company’ development. Secondly, there is no denying that experienced employees can produce profits immediately, but it is disadvantageous for a long-term development because of lacking long-term plan. Thirdly, it is hard for those experienced employees to identify with the new companies’ culture. Therefore, companies have to suffer from high attrition rates. In sum, recruiting experienced employees instead of training inexperienced college students, companies are likely to bear more cost of high attrition rates in the long run. As a result, companies should give opportunities to college graduates so as to reap long-term profits.
